Say hello to your new nursery assistant

I am currently working as a nursery assistant at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery. I have been with my employer for four years – a time which has offered exciting opportunities and professional growth.

I do, however, feel that the time has come for me to look for new challenges and take the next step in my career. For this reason, I was delighted to read about the nursery assistant position at Busy Bees.

I am convinced I am the right person for the job!

I would point to three factors in particular that I feel make me the right person for the position as nursery assistant.

The first would be my experience. During my four years at Kiddi Caru Day Nursery I have acquired a solid foundation of knowledge in childcare and education – these are skills that I look forward to developing and putting to good use as a member of your team at Busy Bees.

Secondly, I would like to highlight my education. I have an Associate degree in childcare from Norton College. Aside from gaining the requisite knowledge taught in my classes, I also feel that I have really developed my ability to learn and integrate new skills and information quickly.

Last, but perhaps most importantly, I strongly believe that my personal traits make me the right person for Busy Bees. In terms of my role as a professional, I have always prided myself on being flexible and empathetic. I know that my ability to explain in ways that help others understand will help me succeed and I am a person who always tries to remain calm and collected, even in stressful situations.

I hope that this brief presentation of who I am has been of interest to you, and that I will be afforded the chance of an interview with you. I am convinced that I would be able to meet and exceed the Busy Bees’s expectations of a nursery assistant, and I would relish the opportunity to prove it.

Best regards,

Geoff Arterton
