Good luck!

A couple of words from a future colleague

I am currently an english major at University of Sheffield. The education I have received thus far has been both interesting and gratifying, and I am looking forward to putting my new skills to use in the workplace.

When I read about the position as library assistant at Chesterfield Library, it definitely piqued my interest.

This job would suit me perfectly!

I believe there are several factors that indicate that I would be the right person to contribute to your future success.

First of all, I have the relevant work experience for the position. I have previously worked as a cashier at Sprouts Supermarket, which has taught me a great deal about what it takes to be a valued employee.

In addition to these experiences, I also bring with me a solid education. My Bachelor’s degree in english from University of Sheffield is a good fit for the job requirements and my years of schooling have also honed my ability to learn new things quickly.

Experience and knowledge are important aspects, but they tend to pale in comparison to having the right personal qualities. I am often described as service-minded, cooperative and organized – traits that I believe are all important to succeeding as library assistant.

I really hope that I get the chance to work as a library assistant with your team at Chesterfield Library, and look forward to meeting you very soon!

Yours truly,

Len Martin
