Working as a Guidance Counselor at Merton College has been a gratifying job where I’ve been in a position to grow over the years, but I am not the type to turn down a new challenge.
When I read about the position as Employment Advisor at Catch22, it piqued my interest right away. The position, as described, offers exactly the kind of challenge I’ve been looking for.
I am convinced that this job would suit me well and that I, in turn, would be a great fit for the job.
The way I see it, there are several factors that suggest that I am the right person to contribute to your continued success.
First of all, my previous work experience has given me a stable foundation to build on when it comes to working in mentoring and coaching and inspiring individuals. My job as a Guidance Counselor has been particularly important when it comes to developing the skills necessary to succeed as an Employment Advisor.
Secondly, I would like to highlight the fact that my educational background meets the requirements you have for the Employment Advisor position. I have a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Counseling from University of Southampton and I make it a priority to stay up to date on the topics related to my field of work.
Last, but perhaps most importantly, I believe that my personal qualities and abilities are a good match for what you at Catch22 look for in an employee. The people I have worked with would probably describe me as motivating, pedagogical and empathetic. Furthermore I have often had use for my natural ability and desire to serve others.
Enough about me! At this point, I’m super curious to learn more about you, and how I can play a part in making your organization even better prepared for the future. I look forward to meeting you and – hopefully! – go on to join your team.
Best regards,
Jordan Bamford
