Meet Michael Moore – a fourth year student with an unusual passion for economics. I read about the available tutor position and felt I had to apply right away!
I’m convinced that I would meet every expectation you have of the person hired for this job.
There are several reasons why I believe I would be a good fit for you.
First of all, I’d like to bring up my passion and genuine interest, not just in economics but in the education industry in general. Being truly interested in something translates into a level of commitment, and I am confident that my strong desire to work in education and communication will help me perform well in the position as a tutor, and get me up to speed quickly.
In addition to these experiences, I also bring with me a solid education. My Master’s degree in economics from Santa Clara University is a good fit for the job requirements and my years of schooling have also honed my ability to learn new things quickly.
Last, but certainly not least, I think that my personal traits and abilities make me the right person for this job. I enter new situations with an open mind, and I know that my high level of empathy has been appreciated by my previous employers.
Furthermore, I am pedagogical, and secure in my professional role.
I’m so very grateful that you took the time to read this all the way through! I hope that you who are reading have been given a sense of who I am, and what I can bring to you.
Yours truly,
Michael
