My name is Vera Corrigan and I am currently studying to become a dental assistant at The International Career Institute (ICI). I am now looking for a job where I can use everything I’ve learned during the course of my education, while getting the chance to further hone my skills and learn a proper profession. With this in mind, I was very excited to read about the available position as dental assistant at Matthews Dental.

There are several reasons why I believe I would be a good fit for you.
First, I would like to address my work experience. In addition to my studies, I work as a receptionist at Northwell Health. During the two years I have worked here, I have learned a lot about customer service and administration, which I believe could translate into a real advantage for Matthews Dental.
I also have the right educational background to meet the requirements for the dental assistant position. Studying at The International Career Institute (ICI) has been very valuable to me in several key ways. Aside from acquiring the skills and knowledge associated with dental assisting, I have also managed to build a sizable network, and have had the opportunity to participate in exciting projects, in addition to my academic coursework.
Last, but perhaps most importantly, I strongly believe that my personal traits make me the right person for Matthews Dental. In terms of my role as a professional, I have always prided myself on being cooperative and service-minded. I know that my sense of order and structure will help me succeed and I am a person who has a communication style that is direct and to the point.
