Good luck!

A couple of words from a future colleague

Since I left my job as an art teacher, I have been looking for a job where I can put my skills to good use. When I read about the open position at Vianney High School, it immediately caught my attention.

I am writing to let you know that I would jump at the chance to be your new art teacher!

Why do I think that Vianney High School should consider me for this job?

First of all, I feel that my professional background has prepared me well for the challenges that any art teacher has to face. My work at Ritenour High School has meant a lot to me, and has provided me with invaluable experience when it comes to leadership, discipline and create tranquility in a turbulent environment.

In the past, I have also worked as a substitute teacher for children ages 6-10.

Secondly, I would like to highlight the fact that my educational background meets the requirements you have for the art teacher position. I have a Bachelor’s degree in education from University of Missouri with coursework in art and I make it a priority to stay up to date on the topics related to my field of work.

Finally, I know that my personal and professional qualities make me the right person for this job. I see myself as a creative person who is a natural educator. Furthermore, I also have a natural sense of calm, which I believe is important when you are working as a teacher.

A cover letter can say a lot about a person, but certainly far from everything. I have my fingers crossed in the hope that I will get to meet you to tell you more about myself, and how I might contribute to the future success of Vianney High School.

Sincerely,

Harper Reyes
