Make It Viral (”the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that helps users transform their LinkedIn posts into more engaging content using AI. We are committed to
protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data We Collect
The Extension collects and processes the following data:
• Selected Text: When you use the ”Make It Viral” feature, the text you have selected is sent to our server for AI processing. This text is processed in real-time and is not
permanently stored.
• Usage Count: We store a local count of how many times you have used the extension. This data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers.

Data We Do NOT Collect
• Personal identification information (name, email, address)
• Browsing history
• LinkedIn credentials or account information
• Any content you do not explicitly select for processing

How We Use Your Data
The selected text is sent to our secure backend server where it is processed by Claude AI (Anthropic) to generate an improved version. The text is:
• Processed in real-time
• Not stored permanently on our servers
• Not used for training AI models
• Not shared with third parties (except Anthropic for processing)

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
• Supabase: For secure backend infrastructure and API hosting
• Anthropic (Claude AI): For AI-powered text processing

Data Security
All data transmission between the Extension and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during processing.

You have the right to:
• Stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it
• Clear local storage data through Chrome’s extension settings
• Request information about data processing by contacting us
