Say hello to your new business analyst

My name is Teo Lopez, and I’ve been working as a business analyst at [Current Employer] in St. Louis for 12 years. It’s been a gratifying job where I’ve been in a position to grow over the years, but I am not the type to turn down a new challenge.

When I read about the position as business analyst at [Company Name], it piqued my interest right away. The position, as described, offers exactly the kind of challenge I’ve been looking for.

I’m confident that I can meet, and even exceed, the expectations you have on your new business analyst.

I would point to three factors in particular that I feel make me the right person for the position as business analyst.

The first would be my experience. During my 12 years at [Current Employer] I have acquired a solid foundation of knowledge in evaluating business processes and developing and implementing solutions – these are skills that I look forward to developing and putting to good use as a member of your team at [Company Name].

Secondly, I feel that my educational background makes me well suited for a job at [Company Name]. I have a Bachelor’s degree in business from University of North Carolina and Chapel Hill and I have also completed several courses in Microsoft Office.

Last, but perhaps most importantly, I strongly believe that my personal traits make me the right person for [Company Name]. In terms of my role as a professional, I have always prided myself on being conceptual and financially adept. I know that my natural networking skills will help me succeed and I am a person who is a levelheaded and dependable person who always tries to remain calm, no matter how stressful the situation.

I hope that this brief presentation of who I am has been of interest to you, and that I will be afforded the chance of an interview with you. I am convinced that I would be able to meet and exceed the [Company Name]’s expectations of a business analyst, and I would relish the opportunity to prove it.

Yours truly,

Teo
